In2001, the "full-time compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard” In2001, the "full-time compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard” proposed the Chinese comprehensive learning for the first time. Since then, Chinese comprehensive learning has become one of five Chinese curriculum structure system in learning and writing word teaching, reading teaching, writing teaching and oral communication teaching. From now on, Chinese comprehensive learning became a hot topic inChinese education and caused a great number of thinking and comments; however, in the frontier of rural areas, Chinese comprehensive learning did not embody its proper value for various reasons. This paper takes Ma Lipo nationality middle school asthe research object, collects first-hand information through questionnaire survey, interviews and investigations, then analyzes and sorting the collected data, finds out thecurrent situation about the Chinese comprehensive learning, points out existing problems, and discusses the corresponding strategies, all of this aim to find the new approaches for Chinese comprehensive learning in rural area.The thesis consists of four parts: the first part is an introduction which mainlyexplain the reason of the study; The second part is the literature review of Chinese comprehensive learning which mainly illustrates the definition, historical development, characteristics and the current research status of Chinese comprehensive learning,it also provides the theoretical foundation for next part; The third part is the investigation and analysis about the current situation of Chinese comprehensive learning inMa Lipo nationality middle school which points out the advantages and existing problems and provides the reality basis for the next part; The fourth part is the core partof this thesis which discusses several suggestions for developing the Chinese comprehensive learning well: First is to strengthen theory and practice training on the newcurriculum and the Chinese comprehensive learning and to improve teachers’ professional development; Second is to increase education investment, improve school con ditions and provide the material supplies for Chinese comprehensive learning; Thirdis to reform the single way of evaluation, evaluate the teachers and students from multiple perspectives and promote the development of Chinese integrated learning; Fourth is to change idea, the teacher need to learn more and actively explore the approaches for the implementation of Chinese comprehensive learning, in addition, the teacher is the biggest obstacle on the way of implementing Chinese comprehensive learning, so the research discusses more detail and explores deeply in the fourth part.
