At present, the problems exist in the reform of mathematics curriculum. And the mathematics taste in some classes is gradually lossing. some students have an apparent backlash on mathematics learning. So it is very difficult to reform for mathematic curriculum. Based on the above understanding and taking into account the characteristics of mathematics itself, we propose that we can use the thoughts of recreation on mathematics in the junior middle school, hoping that through the way of recreation to let the students make clear the knowledge while learning mathematics interestingly and realize that mathematics is an activity, not the unreadable theory far away from the reality. Studying H.Freudenthal’s thought of recreation mathematics education, we hope we can give enlightenments to educators. Although we know the existing materials is given in the form of results, we can put recreation ideas into practice, then students can have a better understanding on the nature of mathematics, changing the attitude to mathematics and enhancing the emotion of it.The paper is prepare to study the thought of recreation applying in the middle school’s mathematic class from six chapters. The first chapter, put forward the problem, and introduce the situation of research from domestic and abroad. The second chapter, systematically introduce the connotation of H.Freudenthal’s recreation thought, pointing out that the process of implement is guided and analyze its feasibility and rationality. The third chapter, put forward4principles to implement in the mathematic class: initiative, mathematical reality, mathematical, zones of proximal development. The forth chapter, introduce the implementation strategies of recreation in class. The fifth chapter is the empirical study, using wheel set of experiments, selecting adjacent mathematic contents by using different teaching methods to experiment in two parallel classes in turn, by the comparison of the test scores to explain its application effects in mathematical teaching in order to draw the appropriate conclusions. The six chapter is to review and sum up the studies on recreation applying in the junior middle school’s mathematic class.Through the experiment we study that the junior high school students have keen interest in the application of recreation in teaching classroom and most of the students can participate and think actively, the reaching effect of teaching objectives overall is better than usual. In addition, we find that, after the recreation ideas using, results of secondary level students of the class upgrade with significant differences by further test score comparison.In fact, it is a challenge for teachers and students to apply the thought of recreation into mathematics classroom. For teachers, they need to sort out the current book creatively and design the contents seriously. For students, they can’t wait for the ready, but to be hands-on brain, or they will gain nothing.
