School-weary, in terms of a certain state or phase, is not a special case for just a certain student, it may be a potential problem every student are faced with. The influence of school-weary is extensive and profound. Concerned with many aspects including individual, family, school and society, school-weary has become one of the outstanding problems of education development. It may hinder the smooth development of education, and even affect the healthy development of pupils. So the intervention on school-weary is very important. Primary stage is the based period for the development of pupils, and it is a period in which various problems would be prone to create. Therefore, this study firstly screened out220pupils of school-weary according to Zhou Fuying’s diagnostic criteria of school-weary. Then in order to understand the status and causes of school-weary, the questionnaire was used among the220pupils and their head teachers. Secondly,30pupils of school-weary randomly selected from those who answered the questionnaire participated in the initial creating of sandplay works. And the common characteristics of sandplay made by pupils of school-weary would be summed up. Finally,3subjects selected randomly from the participants of the initial creating of sandplay works were intervened by using sandplay. The results are as follows:One:The conclusion of pupils’ school-weary status investigation(1) There is a difference in Chinese, Math and English scores between pupils in the different degrees of school-weary. Pupils’Chinese, Math and English scores are decreased with the deepening of school-weary degree.(2) The school-weary of pupils have a difference in gender dimensionality. Boys weary of study are more than girls.(3) The school-weary of pupils is different in their parents’education level. Pupils whose parents have primary school or lower qualifications and bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications are more likely to be weary of study.(4) The main causes of pupils’school-weary are school factors and personal factors.(5) The causes of pupils’school-weary are different in the dimension of grade. The influence of personal and family factors on junior students is greater than the seniors; School and social factors affect the seniors greatly than junior students.(6) The causes of pupils’school-weary are different in the dimension of gender. Personal, school and social factors affect boys greatly than girls.Two:The conclusion of intervention on pupils’school-weary issues with sandplay therapy(1) The characteristic of sandplay works made by school-weary pupils:The initiative to participating in the production of sandplay is not strong; The time of producting works is short; The kind of toys used in the sandplay is not many; There are more inanimate objects than life objects; The movement of toys and sand are many; Less communication scenes appeare; There are no self-image; The fighting scenes are more than harmonious scenes; The outside world and war themes appeare frequently.(2) Sandplay can effectively eliminate pupils’ school-weary, including the help with releasing negative emotions, rebuilding the positive sense of self-value, improving the social communication and unifying the personality.
