At present, China has109normal universities which cultivate thousands ofelementary and middle school teachers each year, and make outstanding contributionsto the basic education. Although as the necessary way to help the student become theteacher, the outcome of normal universities is not positive. Therefore, it becomesmore and more urgent to solve the problems in teaching practice, and let the teachereducation adapts to the needs of students and the development of the times.With the development of the society,elementary and secondary schools in Taiwanface the similar problems as those in Mainland China, such as teacher vacancies of theschool are fewer and fewer, oversupply and falling demand of teachers and so on. Asthe purpose of adapting to the development of the society, Taiwan has focused on thequality teacher training for many years. After years of revision and improvement, themain target of the teacher training system has not changed. With the expectation ofhelping intern teachers, teacher education in Taiwan creates diverse forms of teachingpractice, and pays more attentions to the hard-fought in middle and primary schools.Since several decades of separation and the development of their own, Cross-straithave already had differences in many aspects. However, since the similar culturalidentity between two sides, the situation of teaching practice in Taiwan has moremeaningful valuable references to Mainland China, rather than foreign countries.This study consists of six parts.1. Introduction: It elaborates the importance of this study, defines relevant concepts,and introduces the main chapters.2. Literature Review and Theoretical Basis: By collecting and readingrelated literature of China, Taiwan and foreign countries, it sorts out the existingmethods, concludes existing researches, and points out further exploration of thisstudy.3. Research Methods and Design: It proposes the operation route of this study, andalso introduces the main methods.4. Theory Overview of Taiwan Educational Internship: Goal of Taiwan TeachingPractice; contents and types of Taiwan Teaching Practice; implementation,management, and supervision of Taiwan Teaching Practice; evaluation and assessment of Taiwan Teaching Practice.5. The training practice of Taiwan educational internship---taking PD University forexample: Introduction of P University Teacher Education Center; advisors in PUniversity; teaching practice programs in P University Teacher Education Center;intern teachers situations of PD University6. Conclusions and enlightenment. Point out the inadequate of Taiwan educationalinternship.
