Abstract/Summary:
Full-scale carried out educational reform of the new curriculum is based on the featuresof the present education conditions to make the important and timely decision. That isanother leap of our curriculum reform. Elementary and secondary school is the startingpoint of the reform, the corner stone of the implementation of quality-oriented education.Specifically it is the class that is the elementary factor and carrier of the generalteaching management. Its performances and functions directly decide the teachingquality and studying effect. Also in the suburb section, things are even more apparentespecially in secondary schools. Under the circumstance of the curriculum reform, thehead-teacher of a class requires to change the concept of management. They need toupdate the information and put the scientific and effective methods into effect in orderto assist students in better development in an all-around way.In this paper, the head-teachers of class of5schools in suburb section of DalianDevelopment Area are for the survey from both the students and the teachers’ levels.In this thesis, many research methods will be adopted, such as literatures, questionnairesand interviews. Teachers were investigated about class management situations from4dimensions: the moral education and management, interpersonal environmentmanagement, educational teaching management, routine management. After analyzingthe result and dates, the main problems were found including: First, the teachers are lackof management concepts so that they prefer punishment rather than dredge about moraleducation, or they don’t pay enough attention to the communication with students’parents or their impact. Second, teachers have a poor relationship with the studentsbecause of the low work motivation of them, the ignorance of the cultivating ofpsychological qualities. Third, teachers also become overly focused on the grade insteadof personality development. Fourth, some teachers even have the concept which isagainst the spirit of curriculum reform lead to not enough autonomy or democracy.Based on the survey above the following advice is given: teachers need to keepenhancing capacities for self-development, promote the class-managementcomprehensive strength, take concrete and effective measures to ensure the work isbetter done. Meanwhile, teachers can also help school update the education idea andprovide a platform for the teachers. Furthermore, teachers should strive for guardian’sand various forces of the society’s support and the extensive coordination for students’all-round improvement.
