A Study On The Employment Problem Of Vietnamese College Students

To a person, employment is the most important problem. People employment success, to find a good job, to ensure that the living conditions of individuals and their families, to make a contribution for the social development. In recent years, with the development of Vietnamese higher education, college enrollment continues to expand the scale, personnel training and the number is increasing year by year, and the absorptive capacity of society, university graduates employment increasingly difficult and the unemployment rate is higher and higher also inevitable. In the current economic downturn, become the focus of attention of college students’ employment for the whole society. University graduates can not find a job means that the country, society, family and the students to the human capital investment returns are not aware of, such as the long-term can not be resolved effectively, not only delay the pace of development of higher education in Vietnam, but also affect the sustainable development of the whole economy and society. Therefore, in the current global economic crisis and the intensifying competition in the international market under the background of the problem of employment of university students has important theoretical and practical significance. The content of this thesis includes five parts as follows:The first chapter introduces the research background and significance, Vietnam domestic and foreign research review, research contents, main innovations and research methods.The second chapter is the theoretical foundation of the research, including the theory of employment, labor market and its theory and industrial structure theory. The third chapter analyzes the employment situation of university graduates and the existing problems of Vietnam, survey at the college graduates of Thai Nguyen City, data are collected through questionnaire, and analyze the results of the survey, summary.The fourth chapter put forward countermeasures and suggestions on the problem of employment of university graduates in Vietnam.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the article. The innovation of this paper:First, an empirical research the employment situation of college graduates of Thai Nguyen City and the existing problems and reasons were analyzed and summarized. Second, puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on Vietnam university graduate employment problem.The employment of university students is a systematic project, to solve the problem of employment of university graduates in Vietnam need the cooperation of government, society, individual, family, enterprises. Because of the author’s research level and time limited, inadequate is the existence of the research contents of this thesis, to further strengthen the research.
