The issues related to migrant children are resulted from the emerging process of socialmobility and increasing amount of migrant children. The quantity scale of the migrant children inour country is large, grows rapidly, the problems and difficulties they faced also get more andmore attention. In the existing study, researchers study from the education situations,psychological development situations, social adaptability of the migrant children, and comparingwith the non-migrant children, discuss the backgrounds, causes and solutions of the issues relatedto migrant children at the macro level, the family, flow frequencies, social supports and otherfactors will impact on their psychological and social behaviors, and the parent-child attachmentlevel have influences on the development of the children’s psychological ability and other aspectsof social abilities. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the migrant children’s social skills andproblem behaviors from the perspective of parent-child attachment level, specifically, compared tothe non-migrant children, whether the parent-child attachment of migrant children have differentquality characteristics? These differences in quality characteristics will produce what kind ofimpact on the social skills and problem behaviors of the migrant children? How to eliminate sucheffects, how it should be intervened by social work?In this study, the attachment level of migrant children as influencing factors, concerned aboutthe relationship between the attachment level and social skills and problem behaviors of themigrant children. The questionnaire survey was conducted among262migrant children and theirparents, measuring the parent-child attachment level of migrant children through the parentalattachment section of Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment Questionnaire simple version, thenthrough the CBCL of Achenbach measure the social skills and problems behaviors of migrantchildren, found that the parent-child attachment level of migrant children has the characteristicsthat increased with the children grow older, the attachment level lower, mother-child attachmentlevels above the levels of the father-child attachment, different gender, different age stages ofmigrant children’s parent-child attachment levels also have their different characteristics. Themigrant children’s parent-child attachment level is related to its social ability and problembehaviors significantly. Therefore, through professional social work service, to improve theparent-child attachment level of migrant children, to improve the migrant children’s social skillsand reduce its problem behavior.
