The Present Situation And Countermeasure Of The Quality Characteristics Of The Creative Thinking Of College Basketball Coaches Preliminary Study

Of the International Congress of Creation held on October, 1991, representatives from each country reached a consensus, that is,"Developing creativity is the key to national survival". Of the speech"Adhering to the Innovation Road of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Striving to Build an Innovative Country", Hu Jintao emphasizes"cultivating increasingly a large number of high qualities with vibrant and innovative talents directly relates to the future of a country or nation". Therefore, cultivating innovative talents is significant to the sustainable development of Chinese college basketball. And college basketball coaches are the subjects of development. An important criterion measuring a coach whether he/she is creative lies in that his/her qualities and characteristics of creative thinking are good or not. Based on this, this thesis employs literature, questionnaire, interview, survey, statistics, logical analysis etc to survey and analyze the present situation of college basketball coaches'qualities and characteristics of creative thinking, namely, qualities and characteristics of fluid thinking, flexible thinking, unique thinking, leaping thinking, deep thinking, extensive thinking, and predictive thinking. And this thesis is tentative to offer solutions to how to improve the creative thinking of college basketball coaches. All aim to improve the overall level of scientific thinking of coaches, the ability of analyzing and solving problems and the ability of managing training and competitions so that basketball theories can be enriched and basketball thinking systems can be innovated.The research accomplishments are as follows:1.From the perspective of present situations of Chinese college basketball coaches'creative thinking qualities and characteristics, the seven ones mentioned above tend be poor as a whole, which has something to do with that coaches poorly realize the characteristics of creative thinking, lack the basic theoretical knowledge and methods of disciplines concerned, and have unreasonable knowledge and capabilities. All need to be quickly improved.2. By surveying the qualities and characteristics of creative thinking to the influence of basketball training and competitions, this thesis argues that different thinking characteristics variably influence different tasks of basketball training or competitions. Some thinking characteristics influence the tasks of basketball training or competitions a lot, and some do not. However, in order to obtain the best accomplishment, coaches must own comprehensive and fine creative thinking characteristics.3. In order to change the situations of poor creative thinking characteristics of basketball coaches, the coaches should further realize the creative thinking characteristics, broaden their knowledge, improve the knowledge structure, cultivate creative thinking and excellent personality, break fixed thinking, and overcome the barriers of creative thinking activities. And creative mechanism and system should be built for coaches.
