Guangxi Existing Outside The Research Community Version Of Vocational Language Teaching

With the reformation of basic course in secondary vocational schools deepening recent years and the importance in research of teaching materials becoming prominent, and also the degree of research in cultural basic course of educators deepening, social development endows our educators with glorious mission. Investigating the vocational Chinese teaching materials using in Guangxi is not only the basic requirements raised by Guangxi's vocational Chinese curriculum reform, but the necessary of self-development and self-improvement for the contemporary education researchers. Therefore, based on some knowledge about the present Chinese teaching situation in Guangxi's vocational schools, the present author will study and analyze the using conditions of present vocational Chinese teaching materials in Guangxi.The object of study in this thesis is vocational Chinese material (basic module) published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, which is put into use since summer, 2009. Also, this thesis carries out deep analysis in explanation, concept and characteristic of compiling. It points out compiling features in four aspects, they are: embodying vocational teaching characteristics of structural novelty, the unity of"teaching book"and"studying book"with students'independent learning, highlighting Chinese concepts with combination of appreciation and reciting, according with texts'learning rules with exercise-designing. With the methodology of survey method and interviewing method, through studying the using conditions in three vocational schools of the present teaching material in Guangxi, this thesis analyzes the features presenting and problems revealing during the using process of this teaching material and comes up with suggestions to use this teaching material in reasonable and effective way. At last, it conceives the development and construction for vocational teaching materials in Guangxi.This thesis will offer references for construction of vocation Chinese teaching materials with vocational teaching features and regional features, and provide directions of consultation for the development of vocational teaching materials in Guangxi.
