| In the past 10 years, higher vocational education obtained fast development. Following such sharp development, various higher vocational institutions met a series of urgent problems, of which teacher performance appraisal method is the most prominent one. The system of performance evaluation in China is deficient, which restrains the development of the higher vocational education. A scientific system of the teacher performance appraisal is not only the key of improving education quality, showing their characteristic in higher vocational institutions, but also the premise of their education's healthy development. It will be benefit for sustainable development of higher vocational institutions from both theoretical and practical viewpoint.According to the features of higher vocational college teachers' performance, a performance appraisal index system is set up by investigation. It adopts principal component analysis (PCA) method with regarding teaching, research, social service, discipline construction and Learning & Growth. Furthermore, a model for higher vocational college teachers' performance appraisal is established by adopting analytic network process (ANP) method. Finally, a teacher performance appraisal system is set up for a Higher Vocational Technical College as an example, and it proves that this appraisal system has high validity and feasibility.Main contributions of this paper are as follows:1, Performance appraisal index system is set up by adopting principal component analysis (PCA) into advanced vocational education teachers' performance appraisal, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis method. The mutual influence relationship among indexes is specified as well.2, Established the network structure and model of advanced vocational education teachers' performance appraisal. Index weight is calculated using super decisions software and the effect of analytic network process (ANP) is explained as well. |
