Thesis makes a teaching exploring about the study of Conical section and equations.In the teaching practice,the author finds:when studying the chapter of Conical section and equations,students couldn't get a well meaning,which leads to easily confuse definition, standard equation, simple properties among elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic.Moreover,through questionnaire and test exam i find the learning effect is not well and as long as meeting the problem students may make mistakes.This paper makes a total investigation on students Conical section and equations and analyses the problems existed in studying.The author hopes this can improve the teaching about Conical section and equations.From several points this paper takes a discussion as follows:Firstly,illuminating the importance of the chapter and necessity for research.Through studying the history of Conical section production and Curriculum and exam outline,learn the importance and master requirement in the college entrance examination;according to the situation in the teaching practice and the talk with other teachers,the author finds students don't do well in this chapter,so as to hope to do more comprehensive thorough investigation and solve the problem.Secondly,putting the importance on the results and analysis of questionnaire investigation and test paper,the author finds students make mistakes about the study of Conical section and equations as follows:(1),don't fully understand the definition of Elliptic, Hyperbolic, Parabola and the unity of Standard equation;(2),cann't accurately the Simple nature of Elliptic,Hyperbolic, Parabola;(3), cann't analyse the title and Accuracy low.these problems leads to the content of this chapter seems to more easily teach,but the actual situation is not well. The reasons include students'cognition,its own characteristics of Conical section and equations,of course include of teacher,textbook and so on.Thirdly,the solutions solving the problems appearing in Conical section and equation teaching:(1) compiling courseware by using geometric sketchpad to teach,which provides a very ideal "do maths" environment for students,let students go exploration and collaborative study in the computer,which can help students practise and taste geometric theorem and visualize the abstractive mathematical concepts,(2),through miniature teaching design and the characteristics of the teaching content,elaborately design a teaching clips around a topic or a small project, which may be the introduction of new knowledge, difficulties breakthrough and also the exploration of problems and so on,such can improve teaching efficiency. in limited class time. (3),perfecting mathematical congnitive structure, optimizing the teaching of conical curve and equations and the students' mathematical congnitive structure is the foundation of maths learning,and a good mathematical congnitive structure can well improve teaching efficiency.The structure of CPFS which consists of concept domain, concept department, proposition domain, proposition department,is a internalized mathematics knowledge network in the individual mind,is a special cognitive structure in mathematics learning. In the teaching process we should not only pay attention to the interpretation of knowledge,but should guide students to improve individual cognitive structure,which is more conducive to the teaching and learning of mathematics.
