This paper discusses the starting points of the journalism education of Fudan Univerity by carrying out detailed analysis on factors such as process, characteristics, motivation, which have significant effects on the development of journalism education. In the thesis, the journalism education of Fudan University is divided into several phases as the budding and formation, primary development, difficult time and prosperity period.The formation of China's journalism education is based on the development of journalism of China in 1920s. Taking the development and changes of Chinese journalism education enterprise as the keynote of this study, the author puts forward the above-subsection method taking the historical condition of journalism, education and society of China as background into consideration. The thesis addressed a detailed description of the courses, students and graduates, teaching results, educational resources and the journalism thoughts of some famous journalist educators. The paper also attempts to discover some general characteristics of journalism education in our country, to focus on journalism educators' practice as well as analyze the influential factors of journalism education.
