Study On The Management Characteristics Of Department Of Journalism In Beijing Civilian University

In the early 1920s,journalism education in China entered the stage of beginning and rapid development.In Beijing,Beijing Civilian University firstly established the Department of Journalism.It was founded by Xu Baohuang in 1923 and disappeared in 1937.The Department of Journalism of Beijing Civilian University,which has existed for about 14 years,is a legacy in the history of journalism and journalism education.This article attempts to take the Department of Journalism of Beijing Civilian University as the research object,combing the development course of the Department of Journalism,showing the characteristic of journalism education and the social contribution of the Department of Journalism in an all-round way.It intends to from the angle of the faculty,the curriculum,the talent training,etc.This paper explains its historical status in the field of journalism in China and proves the fact that the Department of Journalism of this university is a successful department of journalism managed by the Chinese people.Through the case study,it is clear that the journalism department starts and ends,highlighting its characteristics and innovation,and revealing its pivotal historical status.This paper mainly consists of six chapters.The first chapter consists of three parts:literature review,research method,research purpose and significance.Because there is little related to the research topic,it provides the research space for restoring the development of Beijing Civilian University's Department of Journalism.The second chapter mainly discusses the stage of the development of the Department of Journalism of Beijing Civilian University,from the beginning of the Department of Journalism,to the beginning of the scale,to the gradual maturity,and then to the decline,showing the characteristics and situation of each stage of development.The third chapter presents the strong faculty of journalism department,rich practical experience of serving teachers,outstanding achievements of journalism academic works and monographs.The fourth chapter discusses the curriculum arrangement,although it is influenced by foreign journalism education mode,it still makes more local curriculum attempt and innovation development.In view of the strong strength of teachers and the perfect curriculum system,the journalism department has trained many excellent journalism students.The fifth chapter mainly describes the journalism practice activities in school and the professional trend after graduation,which reflects the remarkable achievements in the training of journalism department.The sixth chapter summarizes the characteristics of the Department of Journalism.The Department of Journalism of Beijing Civilian University has existed in history for a short time,and finally disappeared in a corner of history.Only a few words can be found from the relevant literature.In restoring its historical development,we can see the exploration and contribution of the Department of Journalism in the early years of journalism education,and gain the impetus and experience of the teaching and learning of journalism by managers,teachers and students.Imagine that the future knowledge of journalism will eventually become the common sense known to the public,it is enough to comfort the journalist's struggle and perseverance.
