Along with the development of world education reform, the role of teachers in education development and reform have been realized gradually. Therefore, in the education reform in the world, we pay more and more attention to teachers. All the reforms of world education reform regard teacher education reform and improving teachers'quality as the core of education reform. They constantly try to reform normal education training system and the teacher continuing system in order to improve the quality of teachers. In fact, the purpose is fostering a good teacher. In the theory research field, many scholars study teacher education reform in order to provide scientific and effective ways and means for teacher education reform. More scholars study teachers, such as teachers' knowledge structure, teacher's professional development, teachers' professional morality(Some scholars call it teachers' professional ethics), teachers' mental health, teachers' practical knowledge, experience, education belief and so on. The purpose of these studies is also improving teachers' quality, and improving teachers' quality is to foster a good teacher.Students need good teachers, schools need good teachers, education need good teachers. In order to satisfy these needs, academic experts and national education authority has been trying to research and practice the same topic:how to cultivate a good teacher. What kind of teacher is a good teacher? What key factors a teacher became a good teacher? Only solve these problems, can we solve the problem that how to cultivate a good teacher.This paper employs the narrative inquiry approach, and puts eyes on the situation, language and behaviors of the teacher'daily life trying to paint the picture of a good teacher. Only in this way, can quasi-teachers and teachers who want to be a good teacher have a clear and deeply understanding of "a good teacher". This paper has no intention to put forward the ubiquitous standard and development principles of a good teacher, but has the intention to paint the picture of a good teacher showing a good teachers'appearance and factors to be a good teacher.This paper tells stories about two good teachers with different teaching age and same teaching course and learning period, and draw two different pictures, to make the expectation of understanding to the constitute factors of a good teacher and the key factors of being a good teacher. The presented constitute factors in this paper are:loving students, understanding students, for the students' benefits; having a mild nature and interpersonal affinity, no excessive demanding, very seriously, high to own request; having their own education belief, using their own education beliefs to guide their own education behaviors. This study found that key factors that to be a good teacher are personality and behavioral. Personality factors include professional ideals, educational love, educational conscience and professional dedication quality. Behavioral factors include learning and introspection. The personality factors are more important.In the last of this paper, the proposed research questions have been answered, and new problems found in this study was proposed.
