1 Research purposeIn this study, body composition, bone mineral density, cardiopulmonary function were tested of two groups of female university students. The first group is the ones who have joined setting-up exercise and yoga for 16 weeks against the original for 16 weeks against the original, and the second is the ones who haven't. It aims to explore the function of setting-up exercise and yoga on bodybuilding in order to provide more methods and scientific basis for the improvement of female university students'fitness.2 Research methods35 female university students in Qufu Normal University who took the setting-up exercise and yoga alternately served as the exercise group, while another 35 ones who didn't take the exercise were randomly taken to serve as the control group. Body composition, bone mineral density, and cardiopulmonary function were tested of the two groups both before and after the 12 weeks. SPSS 18.0 statistic software were used to deal with the obtained data.3 Test results3.1 12 weeks alternate training of setting-up exercise and yoga has effect to a certain extent on female university students' body composition. The exponent of the percentage of body fat, body fat mass and waist-stern distinctly dropped (P<0.01). This three indicators and variation range of body weight and lean weight significantly reduced than those female college students who did not participate in practice (P<0.01).3.2 After the exercise, the body surround degree of female college students gets positive improvement. Among them, the circumference of arm, thighs and legs reduce obviously (P< 0.01); bust and hip circumference increased slightly, to a certain extent waistlines index decreased, compared with the control group the bust of female college students increased while the extent of change is not apparent, hip circumference increased significantly (P<0.01), and the other four indicators decreased significantly (P<0.01).3.3 Practicing setting-up exercises and yoga alternately strengthened female college students'flexibility and lumbar muscles, after Sit and Reach exercise, the rate of increase was not obvious (P>0.05), after sit-ups, the increase rate is very obvious (P<0.05), but both of them get significant enhancement comparing with the control group of female college students (P<0.01).3.4 The heart and lung function of female students had been clearly improved after the exercise. There was a significant increase in maximal oxygen uptake (P<0.01); there was an obvious reduction in their average arterial tension (P<0.05); their increase rate in terms of vital capacity, maximum oxygen uptake, stroke volume was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01), their reduction rate in terms of resting heart rate and average arterial tension was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01).3.5 Practicing setting-up exercise and yoga alternately has a certain impact on the main indicators of blood routine of female college students, in which red blood cell content and hemoglobin content significantly increased (P<0.01), but compared with the control group of female college students, the rate of increase is not obvious (P>0.05); comparing to the control group (P<0.01), platelet content increased significantly (P<0.05).3.6 Bone mineral density of the female university students in exercise group was significantly higher than 12 weeks ago. While the increase scope of exercise group was significantly higher than the control one.4. Conclusion4.1 Practicing setting-up exercise and yoga alternately can reduce body fat content of female college students, increase lean body mass, and body composition can be well improved; it can decrease the circumferencee of waist, abdomen and thigh, while the circumference of chest and hip unchanged or slightly increased, thus the body curves of female college students are enhanced.4.2 Practicing setting-up exercise and yoga alternately can significantly increase bone mineral density of female college students, and promote bone growth and development.4.3 Practicing setting-up exercise and yoga alternately can effectively improve the flexibility and lumbar muscles of female college students, enhance heart and lung function.4.4 Practicing setting-up exercise and yoga alternately can significantly increase red blood cells, hemoglobin and platelet levels of female college students.
