Along with the increase enrollment in the university recent years, the more the university graduates become, the severer the employment situation is. How graduates get a job turns into a focal point which is paid much attention in society, so how to alleviate the employment pressure of graduates has also become a new task. Under the unoptimistic situation, the graduates'careers guidance being a significant service in the university plays a very important role. Compared to the other common colleges, though it has formed a certain scale in recent years, there are many problems existing in the service of career guidance in higher vocational colleges, because its start was quite late and it had to face the varying employment market unceasingly.As an applied subject, marketing concerns how to achieve market transaction effectively and efficiently. It not only has got a huge success in the field of industry and commerce, but also has been applied widely in the Western education. While the research data on educational marketing and collage marketing emerged prominently these years in China, let along the marketing theory applied in the service of career guidance. From the prospective of service marketing, this thesis concerns the investigation and study to the students'career guidance in China and abroad, especially to the current situation of Yunnan higher vocational colleges. According to compare and analyze the discrepancies between school and students, school and the employing unit, which refer to the supply and demand within the career guidance, there exist problems on the service of career guidance in the higher vocational colleges. Then it continues to investigate the external and internal marketing tactics, cross and relationship marketing tactics, customer satisfaction and overflow service logos within service marketing applied in the service of career guidance in the higher vocational colleges.Through the theoretical analysis and the diagnosis research, this thesis holds that the introduction and effective implement of service marketing theory can greatly enhance the the validity of career guidance in the higher vocational colleges to a certain extent, and meet the needs of students and employing units. When higher vocational colleges launch their career guidance, they can raise the working validity from some aspects, such as to enhance the market investigation and study of career guidance, to set up the service marketing notion of career guidance, to improve the quality of career guidance comprehensively, to establish a set of complete system of service marketing on career guidance, to improves the personnel's inner quality overall, to enlarges the propaganda. This thesis attempts to discover the problems existing universally in the service of career guidance in higher vocational colleges at present, where the application of service marketing has been investigated, hoping to propose some revelatory suggestion to the service of career guidance, simultaneously also providing higher vocational education with some consultation.
