On The Modernization Of Migrant Workers In Contemporary China

Human beings are the subject of the social construction. In contemporary China, human modernization is the key to the construction of Socialist modernization. It is believe that the 900 million farmers are the key to achieve the modernization of people for China. While migrant workers is the early group which receive modern baptism, their modernization is a good example and guide to the modernization of other farmers. So, the modernization of migrant workers is the priority of the modernization of the Chinese people. This article is based on the actual situation in the initial stage of China. Take the theory of human modernization as a support, and take migrant workers as the research object, we should carry out the modernization of migrant workers in contemporary China studies. So, there are four parts for this paper.The first chapter is the part of relevance. In this part, we are carding the concept of migrant workers and the concept of modernization of migrant workers in historical perspective. And then we review and analysis the historical background of migrant workers, thus we can explore the important role of migrant workers in China's Socialist modernization construction.The second chapter is the part of theoretical foundation. It is the basis for the latter two part of the argument. According to providing insight into modernization of migrant workers, and consider China's specific conditions, we try to sum up the theory of human modernization. And also from the vertical aspect, we are combing the human development of the modernization strategy from the collective leadership of our party of four generations.The third chapter is the fact analysis section. In this part, we are base on the theory of human modernization; we can examine incidents of contemporary Chinese modernization of the actual situation of migrant workers from vertical,horizontal,synchronic and diachronic perspectives. We would look into the reasons which impede the modernization of the contemporary Chinese migrant workers. And carry out an analysis of dialectical. The fourth chapter is the part of theory application. In this part, we use Chinese modernization theory, and according to the obstacles of the modernization of Chinese migrant workers, we can put forward a targeted promotion of migrant workers which could be operational as soon as possible ways to realize modernization. In other words, change their concept firstly, enhance citizenship,open awareness and the sense of competition. So we should transform the ideas and psychological state of migrant workers from traditional to modern. To improve the capacity of such learning and practice for migrant workers, we should promote the modernization of rural migrant workers. We should reform the dual urban-rural split household registration system,employment system,the social security system to realize smoothly the modernization of migrant workers, and then we should build a social system which is good to the development of migrant workers.
