Transport Enterprises Strategic Alliance

This article theoretically defines the strategic alliance of transportation corporation. Based on that, it compares the strategic alliance with other forms of middle structure, then analyses its theoretical foundation, focusing on the theory of Transaction Costs .The motive, means and cooperation decision-making are the key points of the whole article. The motive and means of these alliances are analyzed from the perspective of horizontal alliance as well as vertical alliance. The cooperation policy decision includes: analyzing the cooperation condition, choosing a cooperation partner and determining the structure of alliance. At last, the paper gives several methods for determining the proportion of benefit allocation in the alliance.
