Research On Professional Identity Of Young Civil Police

Occupation identity refers to the subject’s recognition and support of the occupation values, including the basic elements of occupation cognition, occupation emotion, occupation belief and occupation behavior. As an important part of moral psychology of young police, the occupation identity plays a fundamental role in the ideological and moral construction of young police.In the background of social transformation and multi-cultural conflicts, it is of great significance in theory and practice to explore the problems and causes of young police’s occupation identity and put forward effective measures to solve the problems and hence enhance young police’s sense of occupation identity.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter, focusing on the overview of young police’s occupation identity, puts foward the definition of occupation identity, young police’s occupation identity and illustrates the importance of young police’s occupation identity. The second chapter consists of the survey and analysis on the current situation of young police’s occupation identity, including the notes of the results of field survey and analysis of its achievements and problems. The third chapter is mainly about the problems and reasons of young police’s occupation identity, including the reasons from society, family, school and individual. The fourth chapter expounds the strategies to enhance young police’s occupation identity. It puts forward that the unit, society, family and youth police should make joint efforts to achieve it.With the the basic thought of proposing, analyzing and solving problems, this thesis is based on the theories of dialectical materialism and historical materialism and guided by socialist core values. With the following research methods: literature research method, survey and analysis method and comprehensive study method, this thesis deeply analyzes the existing problems of China’s young police’s occupation identity and puts forward the strategies and methods to enhance young police’s occupation identity to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the culivation of young police.Compared with the related research home and abroad, this thesis has the following innovations: a creative topic; original thoughts and new points of view.
