Half of a country’s security depends on public security.In times of peace,the public security team has sacrificed the most and contributed the most,and "white plus black" and "five plus two" have become normal working conditions.However,the generalization of police duties and all kinds of negative reports on the police by the news and social media in order to attract attention have reduced the professional identity of the police,and some police have even chosen to leave the police force.Young police shoulder the important task of stabilizing social order and promoting the construction of national rule of law.At the same time,they are quick-thinking,energetic,creative and plastic.They are the backup force and important executors of maintaining social stability.Professional identity is of great significance to the career development of young police and the development of the public security team.Research on the professional identity of young police officers can not only effectively promote the public’s knowledge and understanding of the police career,but also play an important role in improving the work efficiency and job satisfaction of young police officers and maintaining the healthy and stable development of the police force.This paper takes the professional identity of young police officers as the research object and defines the related categories.Through the province a total of 580 S has carried on the questionnaire sampling survey,the young police from the professional value,professional emotion,professional ability,professional environmental dimension of four professional identity,and the gender,age,working years,marital status,education,political affiliation,unit level,jobs,wages of nine variables significant difference analysis,and compare the mean through the empirical analysis according to the results:(1)The professional identity of young police officers in S province is above the average level;(2)The four dimensions of occupational value,occupational competence,occupational emotion and occupational expectation are significantly positively correlated with occupational identity,but the scores of each dimension are not uniform.The average ranking of the four dimensions is that professional emotion is greater than professional ability,professional value is greater than professional expectation.(3)There is no significant difference in the professional identity of young police officers of different age groups,working years and political status.However,there are significant differences in the degree of professional identity among young police officers with different genders,educational background,marital status,unit level,job position and salary.(4)There are significant differences in the professional identity of young police officers of different genders.The professional identity of young female police officers is higher than that of young male police officers.The professional identity of young female police officers is significantly higher in the dimension of career value and career expectation,but there is no significant difference in the dimension of career ability and career emotion.There is a significant difference in the professional identity of young police with different educational background.The educational background is negatively correlated with the professional identity of young police,and the higher the educational background is,the lower the professional identity of young police.The difference is significant in the dimension of career expectation,but not in the other three dimensions.The differences of career identity among young police with different marital status are extremely significant.The scores of career identity of unmarried young police are higher than those of married young police in all dimensions,and the scores of career expectation and career value are significant.There were significant differences in professional identity among different unit levels.Young police officers who worked in the police station had the lowest score in professional identity,and reached significant levels in three dimensions of professional emotion,professional ability and professional value.The difference of professional identity among different posts is extremely significant.Young police officers who take into account multiple posts have the lowest score of professional identity,and the difference of career expectation and career value reaches a significant level.There is a significant positive correlation between the salary income and the professional identity of young police.The higher the salary income,the higher the professional identity of young police,but there is no significant difference in all dimensions.Based on the questionnaire analysis,this paper attributed the factors affecting the professional identity of young police officers in S province from the social level,the unit level and the individual level,which mainly included eight aspects: professional reputation,law enforcement environment,management system,working atmosphere,work pressure,career expectation,career belief and work ability.And corresponding to the influencing factors of young police professional identity from three aspects of improving the social environment,optimizing the organizational environment,and enhancing personal professional identity promotion strategies,in order to promote the regularization of the police team,enhance the professional pride of young police and performance of duty to provide a useful reference.
