Yongji Dialect Vocabulary Study

The city of Yongji is located in the southwest of Shanxi Province.It is on the west of Yellow River, and to the Dali,Heyang city spacing out the river, south of Zhongtiaoshan to Ruicheng city,east of the city of Yuncheng,north of the city of Linyi. Yongji dialect is put into the Haizhou piece of Feihe piece, Zhongyuan mandarin by the atlas of Chinese language in 1987. Yongji dialect has a lot of idioms with its characteristics. This article just chooses the four-character-pattern idoms, idioms and a two-part allegorical saying of Yongji dialect as its research objects, discussing its structure,semantic and rhetoric.The full text constitutes by four chapters. The first chapter is the forward,mainly introducing the position of Yongji, evolution of history, general dialect, the significant of this topic and the method of the reseach, linguistic materals.Chapter two chooses the four-character-pattern idoms of Yongji dialect as its research object, discussing its structure, grammar and rhetoric. Firstly, it tries to analyse the main structure of the four-character-pattern idoms of Yongji dialect. Based on it,the discussion of the structural characteristic. Grammatically, the four-character-pattern idoms can function as clauses in sentences of two or more clauses, and various sentence components in simple sentences; In rhetoric, the disscution of dual,the sound rhyme and the rhetoric lattice.Chapter three chooses idoms of Yongji dialect as its research object, discussing its structure, semantic and rhetoric. This chapter tries to analyse the main structure,semantic expression,rhetoric characteristic of idoms of Yongji dialect.Chapter four chooses a two-part allegorical saying of Yongji dialect as its research object, discussing its structure, semantic and rhetoric.Last is the conclusion.Based on a broad and through research of the rural area and the great research fruits of the predecessors for reference, guided by modern linguistics theory,the article tries to probe and analyse the four-character-pattern idoms,idioms and a two-part allegorical saying of Yongji dialect,the thesis tends to provides some useful materials for further research on Yongji dialect.
