Confucianism Into The Constitution - China Yuan Congress Constituent States Lesson Plans And Their Debates

This article aims to respond to the fundamental issue of our present era:the struggle between ancient/modern and China/Western. This article intends to identify the current status of the era, and explore the transformation path of modern China. In the new global era, all countries have to face the "gods conflict", that is, the irreconcilable conflicting between the ultimate values. Therefore, we need to create a global universal values. Given the unprecedented era of globalization, all existing civilizations have no corresponding intellectual resources to deal with the new problem. Thus, All the universal values have not sufficient reason. In this background, how to effectively coordinate the Constitution and the Confucianism became a meaningful research subject. This article review the debate focus on the state religion in the first congress in response to such problems:whether the Confucianism has its modern value, whether the Confucianism impeding the establish of democratic politics,whether the Confucianism should be written into the Constitution and by which forms, and so on. So our country need to reconstruct the authority of traditional discourse.This article intend to subvert the discourse of modernity, and rebuild the methodology of our social sciences. The first twenty years of the 20th century is the hub of China's social transformation, which means the traditional Confucian ideology shift to the western ideology. So our nation fall into two serious social crisis:the dimension of social moral and disorder of social order. So how to build a new order in the ruins of the old order become a serious problem to be solve.From the fact of constitutional Japan defeat authoritarian Qing dynasty and Russia, as well as the fact of most western advanced countries are constitutional country, Chinese conclude the direct link between constitutional and national prosperity. So constitutional government was given the value of legality and legitimacy.
