Republic Of China Northeast Folk Religion Research

The Folks Religion in China contains several thousand years' history, but it is not treated as orthodox religions, in fact, it reflects the culture and belief in bottom layer ,which is indivisible part of Chinese history .These years the Folks Religion begins to be concerned by the academic circles, but investigative object and scope is limited, see from time scope, concentrating at Ming and Qing, see from the region, concentrating at the North China, and the South China, etc. This thesis chooses the topic, on one hand, because in Republic the folks religions were active, which had the academic value, on the other hand because Falun Gong was originated the North East and similar to the folks religions, which had also realistic meaning.This thesis contains five parts: the meaning and scope of the Folks Religion, the general situation of it, the reasons why it spread so prosperous in the North East in Republic, the characteristics of the Folks Religion and the influence in positive and negative parts. The research result discovers the folks religion in the North East is influenced by several factors, including the immigrants, social circumstance, the descent of other religions, the advantages of the Folk Religions, etc. The folks religions of Republic in the North East spread particularly quickly and Extensively, so the folks religions had deep influence on the society and people in the North East, and this influence continue until now.All in all, this thesis tries to find some regulations through the research of the Folk Religion of Republic in the North East, and tries to be benefit to the research of the Folk Religion, at the same time in order to recognize the evil religions such as Falun Gong, which can draw lessons from the Folks Religion.
