The article "The study of methods of children learning piano" is based on the absorption of the other articles which are related to piano education and combined the status of children learning piano, also on the author's experience of teaching. The first chapter talkes about the diagnosis of children's musical aptitude to learn piano, and we think that children have equal right to learn piano, they all have a certain musical aptitude, but individuals have different musical ability, so we use the new domestic and abroad test theories and methods to test their potential, the diagnosis is we should make the teaching plans according to the individual. In the second chapter it talks about the methods of teaching children of different ages and the methods follow the pedagogy, physiology, psychology, theoretical principles, are proposed by domestic and foreign experts, the author has experiences as well. In the third chapter it talked about that the motives and needs are two important psychological factors of children learning the piano. Motives and needs are the source of power of the people. Teachers and parents should keep children active and control the two psychological factors, then children can learn piano in a motivated way. Chapter four talks about some important things that we should think about when children learn the piano, parents should hold the right purpose and attitude towards children's piano study, take the responsibility of guidance, supervision. At the end, as for the training partners, they should be trained properly and take their own responsibilities to inspire and help children to learn piano.
