Intuition is a thought-provoking issue in philosophy, which not only epistemologically involves source of knowledge, ability, range, limitation of cognition, but also ethically concerns with the relationship between man and world, the existence structure of man, the possibility of human's freedom, etc.. Despite that discussions on intuition vary, but still some space to probe into and trouble to resolve. Although controversial, Kant's view on the issue is widely accepted unique account. We must therefore return to Kant.Enlightenment philosopher Immanuel Kant's Aesthetic Revolution undoubtedly has its implication. Kant's "Copernican Revolution" on "Intuition" appears to be quite revealing. The doctrine poses the fundamental challenge against the traditional metaphysics, further examining "what is man?" In Kant's earliest writings, neither the German "Anschauung" nor the Latin "intuitus" can be found. "Anschauung" is first introduced to replace the expression "conceptus singlaris" singular term, i.e., intuition initially was introduced as a singular representation in the sense of concept. Until "Critique of Pure Reason", Kant's Transcendental Aesthetic dealt with intuitions that are all sensory. Since then, sensibility no longer belongs to understanding, both of which seem to be independent from each other. In my paper, sensible intuition embrace threefold aspects-forms of pure intuition, formal intuition and empirical intuition. Through intuition's variants, Kant provided a prerequisite for cognition, and established the unity and certainty for "constructing" the critical system. Furthermore, Kant successfully set" pillar of Hercules" for the metaphysic of experience, saving human's reason from plunging into mire. The paper just aims at shifting the perspective to interpret the position where intuition as inner agent is between the sensibility and understanding.
