Husserl entered philosophy through mathematics. His thoughts developed in a way independent of historical influence. To truly understand Husserl’s phenomenology,we must clarify the basic method in Husserl phenomenology: intuitive method, which is the soul of Phenomenology Movement. In the early period of phenomenology,Husserl put forward the concept of intuition in his work Logical Investigation, and the principle of intuition is "the principle of all principles".Unlike Kant,Husserl thinks that the concept of category can be grasped by intuitive behavior.Category intuition is a direct and immediate concept of category object. Then,it puts forward the conceptualization function and general intuition. In Ideas for a Pure Phenomenology and Phenomenological philosophy,Husserl put forward the concept of essence in phenomenology.Husserl’s epistemology can not be separated from ontology. For Husserl, natural science and regional ontology have not exhausted the research on existence. So he also proposed another important phenomenological method--transcendental reduction, whose first step is to exclude all the prior setting and position, and only admit what is proved and self-evident.In Husserl’s view, essence is not something hidden behind things, but a higher species of things,or "the state of affairs itself".In the attitude of phenomenological reflection, the essence can be an intuitive object through the turning of eyes and the method of free change.Perceptual intuition refers to the direct and intuitive method of object through senses, which enables consciousness to grasp individual objects initially, and then "concept" or "essence" can be grasped through "turning of eyes".Therefore, the relationship between prior reduction and nature intuition is a kind of mutual blending relationship, and the eidetic intuition can be said to be based on the perceptual intuition. On the other hand, there is no perceptual intuition without the nature intuition. Therefore, the relationship between the nature intuition and the perceptual intuition is also the relationship between the integration. In experience and judgment and phenomenological psychology,Husserl proposed that the eidetic intuitive method is a procedure with a series of operation steps,.What the theory of eidetic intuition should reveal is how the things can be displayed in consciousness, and thus grasp the essence of things, and then get the real understanding of things.Although Husserl mentioned the time problem when he talked about the related concepts of the essence intuition in Ideas for a Pure Phenomenology and Phenomenological philosophy, the real discussion about the eidetic intuition and time was started after the internal time consciousness was put forward, and the former eidetic intuition was static.Since then, the eidetic intuition is a diachronic and dynamic nature intuition, and it is carried out through the two clues of time and space. We should study and present Husserl’s philosophy as a kind of living philosophy. We are not faced with a series of unchanging propositions, but a kind of constantly changing and developing thought. We must immerse in it and carry on the philosophical discussion. For us,it is not enough to reconstruct Husserl’s arguments, but to express them in a phenomenological language, and to face the same "things" to understand them, nor to try to make them clear and understandable by a text or the premise that it may not be written or expressed. Therefore,it is necessary to clarify and understand Husserl’s intuitive thought of essence clearly, which needs to be explained in different works in different periods of Husserl phenomenology, rather than one book. Finally,it uses phenomenology to realize the operation of the eidetic intuition.
