Genghis Khan Legend Myth

The present paper consists in four parts:introduction, main part (the first chapter, the second chapter, the third chapter), conclusion and reference. The introduction mainly introduces the topics based on, the research goal, the present research situation, the research technique and the research significance.The Legend is a kind of folk cultural form which is based on the cultural and historical background, and people's thoughts, will and the social life environment. The Legend of Genghis Khan not only spreads in the folk by the oral inheritance until now, and has also left behind its mark in many historical documents. The Legend of Genghis Khan unceasingly receives the influence of the times, social, cultural and historical background, so it presents the varying degrees of the change, on the other hand, it also influents on the spirit of the ages, the historical culture certainly.In this paper, on the foudation of the legends of Genghis Khan which inherit through different ways, I collect the ones which have mythology, and classify them. The key analysis consists in the research of seamless integration of the mythological elements and the Legend of Genghis Khan, and it also lay the theoretical foudation to the further study of traditional thinking model of Mongolian in ancient times. In the same time, it also elaborated the reason why the mythological elements integrates the Legend of Genghis Khan and their reaction. In the first chapter, from the static research angle, according to the charactoristic of the mythological elements which integrates in the legends of Genghis Khan, I classify the mythology into three types:natural, traditonal and historical. Then, I analysize them separately.In the second chapter, from the dynamic research angle, according to the develop pattern of the mythology, I classify it into two types:the symbolic and deiform. Then by using examples, I analysize the forms of the mythology in varying ages and different cultural and historical background.In the third chapter, by studying the origin of seamless integration of mythology and legends of Genghis Khan, I make the conclusion that the integration is mainly caused by two factors:the first one is the traditional thinking model of Mongolian nationality, namely heaven worship and ancestor worship; the second one, the ruler embarks from the political stand, for consolidating his reign and leading the people, uses literatural method, figures Genghis Khan into "The Son of Heaven". In addition, I descript the concrete manifestation of the reaction of the mythology. The mythology itself is helpful for consolidating and developing the Mongolian cohesion, and it lays the foudation for the Legend of Genghis Khan in the literature field either.
