Shangshu is Yu, Xia, Shang and Zhou king's statements and conversation records between them and their subjects. The author is the historians of ancient dynasties. The type of language which shangshu reflects is belong to the period of late ancient Chinese language, the features of this time is the alternation of new and old language. Therefore, shangshu is a very important document of ancient texts, and provide an irreplaceable ancient Chinese documents for chinese grammar research.This paper is the research on complex sentence in the Chinese antiquity literature Shangshu. Relatively,the grammar research achievement has been more plentiful to Shangshu than the other research to Shangshu,some content about complex sentences in Shangshu still had the more abundant research space,therefore we take The Reasearch on Complex Sentences in Shangshu as the topic, comprehensively inquires into each kind of Complex Sentences which have relational mark in Jinwen Shangshu.This thesis consists of three chapters.Introduction section describes Jinwen Shangshu and the chinese theory of grammar in the complex sentence.Chapter I "The Research on Types of Complex Sentences in Jinwen Shangshu(One)." Investigate and analyze the causational complex sentence, hypothesis complex sentence, purpose complex sentence and parallel complex sentence.Chapter II"The Research on Types of Complex Sentences in Jinwen Shangshu(Two)". Investigate and analyze the progressive complex sentence, consistent complex sentence, disjunctive complex sentence and concessive complex sentence.Chapter III"The Characteristics of Complex Sentences in Jinwen Shangshu". study the connectives in Jinwen Shangshu and summarize the characteristics of complex sentence in Jinwen Shangshu.
