Why Do They Worry?

With the quick enlargement of the higher education and the deep revolution of employment system for graduates in our country, more and more graduates start to worry about the employment difficulties. Simultaneously this huge pressure also often causes them to have various psychological questions, includes so-called"the university student employment anxious sickness". Now, this phenomenon not only obtain the entire society's widespread attention but also become the hot topic of domestic and foreign university student ideological education and psychology research. In oredr to reveal the overall condition of employment anxious under the world financial crisis causes employment difficultly for university sutdents in Shanghai from the second half of 2008 to the beginning of 2009, the research has been done in seven universities in Shanghai. Through the research, the current university student psychological growth mechanism of job- hunting was discussed, and new features and disciplines were found for employment ideological education and psychological counseling.This research took method of questionnaire survey in terms of employment anxious source and anxious teseting. the table that measures somebody's employment anxious to investigate Totally 537 university students from different grades were tested together after class in Shanghai's seven universities. Firstly, I used independent sample T examination and single factor variance to analyze and compare distributive features among different groups of university students on employment anxious. Secondly, I induced main reason and the secondary reason of the anxious.The results show that: 1. The overall anxious level seems a little higher for university student in Shanghai in 2008-2009, and employment pressure is the main source of anxious.2. There is no siginificant difference of anxious level on employment between students in national key universities and the ordinary universities in Shanghai. While there is a significant difference between undergraduates and junior college students. Meanwhile there is also a difference of anxious level between different sexes,majors and grades. For example,especially the senior students have higher anxious than other grades students. Generally speaking, the anxious for senior is highest,for junior is a little lower than senior,for sophomore and freshman is the lowest.3. There is no significant difference of the reason causing employment anxious between students in national key universities and the ordinary universities in Shanghai. But there is a significant dif- ference between undergraduates and junior college students. The students in different groups may have different reason of causing employment anxious in terms of different majors,sexes and grades. Especially the different majors and different sexies have more in- fluence upon anxious than the difference grades.Finally the solution and suggestion were concluded by this research according to the problems reflected by university students when they are anxious for employment.
