Therefore, this thesis will compare the Chinese temporary measure word derived from noun for both Thai and Chinese languages in many respects such as types, word categories, grammars and languages using, as well as researching for problems in studying of Thai students by doing tests in order to find the mistakes of using the Chinese temporary measure word derived from noun, finding the root causes of mistakes and propose recommendations for problem solving.One important problem of Thai students is they do not know the meaning of the Chinese temporary measure word derived from noun. In addition, grammar structure of Thai and Chinese are totally different and Thai students do not know enough vocabularies to use the Chinese temporary measure word derived from noun correctly.For all above said problems, a main cause derives from an impact of mother tongue's language.
