| This thesis attempt to define the marker (?) in Taizhou dialect as aspectmarker or the component of aspect marker. (?) plays an important role inaspect system in Taizhou. The discussion of the Taizhou dialect revolvesaround the verb suffix (?) which usually is analyzed as a marker ofperfective aspect,but sometimes (?) can be used as imperfective aspectmarker.In Chapter 1, we have a full description of (?) which distribute indifferent synatactic lacations in Taizhou dialect.In Chapter 2, we first describe the usage of both V-(?) and sentential (?)in the Taizhou dialect .We conclude that V-(?) can be a mere perfective (?)regardless of the time framework .In Chapter 3, we describe the usage of (?) as a imperfective marker.In Chapter 4, we focus on the (?) which is a component of aspectmarker and reveal their syntactic structure and semantic features whichinclude the imperfective aspect mark (?) ,zhu- (?), (?)-xia. And we give a verydetailed and insightful explanation by comparing the different betweenthe three imperfective marker.In Chapter 5,we make a further discussion on aspect marker (?)1 and (?)2 . |
