| Jianyang dialect in Sichuan province belongs to the Chuan-Qian part of Southwest Mandarin, and its continuous aspect markers are various and distinctive. This paper takes the continuous aspect markers of Jianyang dialect as the research object, adopts the way of combination of description and interpretation to describe the continuous aspect markers in detail, compares the similarities and differences, and analyzes the reasons. In addition, this paper also uses other dialects’ research materials to sort out and summarize the continuous aspect markers of Chinese dialects, and on this basis, analyzes the characteristics of continuous aspect markers of Jianyang dialect.Through the research,we kown that "dao,qi,de" of Jianyang dialect have many different grammatical functions besides being used as the continuous aspect markers.According to the usage of the three makers at the synchronic level,we can see that the continuum aspect marks "dao","qi" and "de" belong to two different grammaticalization paths. The "dao" and "qi" come from the grammaticalization of the phase complement, and closely combined with verbs. The syntactic position and structure of the two markers are roughly the same, and sometimes they can be replaced with each other. At the same time, due to the different sources of grammaticalization, the grammatical functions of the two markers are not completely the same, which is manifested by the different combination abilities with verbs, and the different usage situations in imperative and serial-verb construction. But the "de" comes from the overallgrammaticalization of the locative prepositional phrase, which is loosely combined with the verb and often placed at the end of the sentence. It has the function of sentence completion and cannot be omitted.Because of the differences of grammaticalization path and source, the three continuous aspect markers show different grammatical meaning and syntactic structure, which makes Jianyang dialect have the characteristics of coexistence of multiple markers, and the usage of each marker is different. In addition, compared with other dialects,Jianyang dialect is rich in the combination form of continuous aspect marker. There are four kinds of combination form in the dialect, which are "dao qi ","dao(O)de "," qi(O)de" and "dao qi(O)de",and different forms of combination show different levels of meaning. In the structure of "dao qi ","dao " and "qi" are closely combined with verbs. When they are used together,no other grammatical constituent can be inserted between the two continuous aspect markers, which shows the enhancement of continuous meaning. In the structure of "dao(O)de" and "qi(O)de",the combination of "dao /qi" and verb is close, while "de" is relatively loose. When two continuous aspect markers used together, they can often insert object. When they are combined with verbs, the hierarchical relationship between them is different. In the structure of "dao qi(O)de",three continuous aspect markers are used together. No grammatical constituent can be inserted between "dao " and "qi",while the object can be inserted between "dao qi " and "de".The combination form "dao qi(O)de" is similar to "dao/qi(O)de",but its levels of meaning is different. |
