| This paper takes the Wangfu-type legends as the object of review. First of all, it discusses the distributing of this type of legend in the classical literature of China, and also covers the collection of the legends in modern China. Secondly, it focuses the development and variation of the legend type and tries to reveal some relevant regulations. In addition, this paper analyses the influence of this legend type on other minorities and countries in Asia as well. Finally, it discusses the reasons for the vitality of this legend type. |
