In the State Council’s "Notice on Approving and Publishing the Sixth Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units",the Senggelinqin Palace(Bowang Palace)was listed as an "ancient building" during the Qing Dynasty.Cultural relics are an important part of material cultural heritage. They contain the unique cultural value, way of thinking and imagination of a nation, and reflect the vitality and creativity of the nation. The main research object of this paper-"Bowang Mansion" is located in Jiergalang Town,Kezuohou Banner,Tongliao City,Inner Mongolia. The locals call it Jiergalang Mansion or Sengwang Mansion. It was the palace of Horqin Zuoyihou Banner during the Qing Dynasty, that is,the famous Qing Dynasty general Seng Gelinqin’s father-in-law Soter The palace of the king of Namuduobuzhai County. It was built in the fifth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty(1740)and has a history of more than 250 years. The prefecture and king’s mansion, belonging to the Mongolian Horqin Left-wing Rear Banner of Mongolia outside the Qing Dynasty, was known as the "Monk King’s Mansion" or "Bowang Mansion" by its tenth county king,Seng Gelinqin, and has now become an important tourist attraction and cultural place after"repair" Senggelinqin Palace".The text consists of three parts: introduction, main content, and conclusion. In the article, the author uses the method of participation observation, the method of historical documents, and the method of structured interviews, mainly focusing on the restoration process of the royal palace and its narrative theme as the main line to describe and record, and to reveal the current problem of what the "Senggelinqin Palace" is from the perspective of social memory.First of all,the "King’s Mansion of Monk Greenqin" is introduced, and secondly, the restoration process and the oral history of the monk Greenqin, the merits and evaluations in historical documents are elaborated. Finally, the exhibitions and ceremonial activities related to the "Monk Greenqin King’s Mansion" are introduced. If we regard the "Senggelinqin Palace" as a materialized narrative form — a practice of memory — then clarifying the entire "restoration process" and revealing the practical content of memory can answer what is the "architecture" shown here? It also answers the question of what memory is in the narrative and practice here.
