Hand, The Art Of Soft Material

"By hand" or "body involve" had been concerned as an important aspect of the creative practice in differert forms of art till 60's,including the Modern Art movement.However,in the movements afterward,the "concepts involve" took precedence over this traditional concern.The dominantation of conception even led to the discard of carftmanship by the artists.In my point,compare to different forms of art after Modern Art,soft material art expressed more or less displayed that there is a feature of craftsmanship.In this thesis,I adopt professional theory translation,documentry analysis,object observation,visual analysis, case study of artists;the creativity and originality of research perspective.I want to talk about the craftsmanship in the soft material art,and its special value in the context of contemporary art and social culture.
