MBTI,Myers Briggs Type Indicator,is based on the Carl G.Jung's theory on type of psychology.The results of MBTI self-evaluation test can identify the character difference of normal and healthy persons,which difference always causes the misunderstanding of communication.With more than 50 years research and development,MBTI has become the most frequent human character measure tool and human character measure table with solid foundation theory and strong practicability.Compared with traditional human character type table,MBTI has its own unique advantage and application value in different kinds of fields,and professional consultation and career plan is one of the fields that MBTI shows great application value.Compared with other countries,the introduction and application of MBTI is late in the domestic.At present,the application of such advanced human character measure is few in domestic corporations,especially in state-owned company and mainly used in interview and training.It is deficient to apply this measure tool systematically in analysis of personnel's career and take the results as reference of career development guide.In order to better understand young personnel character,analyze the behavior of different persons in the team work and reach the goal to guide young employees to develop their career by means of human character measure tool,the author makes use of MBTI, combines years of HR working experience with the practical application of corporation cases and performs preliminary exploration in cognizance of the research of MBTI application in state-owned young personnel's career development.With a series of measurement and data analysis,it shows that:MBTI table is certainly reliable;Most young employees are suitable with their positions and some need tutorship case by case.Advices from this paper:Use character and psychological types to improve interpersonal relationshipReasonably arrange young employees per their own character typesTake different management strategy on young employees per their different character typesTo schedule team leader and members per character typesMeaning of the this paper:By learning about young employees' character types via MBTI testing as a whole, together with data analysis and specific advice,we can perform effective guidance on them, which makes positive contribution to the research on combination of young employees' character types and career development.
