In education,teachers are an important factor in determining the quality of education and the effectiveness of teaching.By interpreting and researching the professional development of individual teachers,it is possible to promote the professional development of more teachers.Among the teachers,young teachers are the backbone.Studying the development of young teachers is of great significance to educational research.By analyzing the growth of prominent English teachers,we can provide the experience that teachers in schools can learn from,help new teachers and teachers in the period of bottleneck to make progress,and encourage young people who are engaged in education through the power of example.The research object of this paper is an prominent young teacher who has won the May 1st Labor Medal in Chongqing.This paper adopts the method of narrative research and selects a prominent young teacher from a middle school in Chongqing as the research object,describing its development history and development story,conducting a comprehensive and systematic exploration of its growth and professional development,and discussing the factors affecting its development.I mainly study what can be learned from the development of the teacher.The study is divided into seven parts.Firstly,it introduces the research background,the research situation of domestic and foreign literatures,etc.Then it expounds the purpose and significance of this research,and explains the theoretical basis and research methods of the research.The paper focuses on the story of the professional development of teachers.It mainly tells about the professional development and the story about teacher development through his interviews and his class.Through the analysis of its professional development,the paper briefly summarizes its professional development and draws the factors that affect its professional development.According to the characteristics of Yu's growth,this paper divides his growth experience into three stages: Industrious and eager student age,early-stage teaching,and advanced teaching maturity.During the school period,the teacher used his spare time to memorize the essays,study the grammar,participate in the English corner,and actively participate in various teaching competitions,speech contests,debate contests,and improve their overall quality.After graduation,Yu taught at a key middle school in Chongqing.At the beginning of the teaching,the teacher took every class seriously,actively participated in various teaching and research activities,and humbly learned from experienced teachers.At the maturity of the teaching,the teacher treats the students equally and creates opportunities for each student to exercise and display.By narrating the professional development of this prominent young teacher,it is found that the teacher has a lofty professional philosophy and professional ethics,solid professional knowledge and outstanding professional ability.What's more,the professional development of young teachers is influenced by many factors,including personal factors such as personal traits and teaching concepts,as well as external factors such as social,school environment,development platform and training received.According to the development of the research object and the factors affecting its development,the paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions,such as improving the personal quality of teachers,improving the training system,formulating the training plan,creating the atmosphere of school teaching and research,etc.It is hoped that the education administrators will be inspired by the professional development of young teachers from the text,and hope that the young teachers in schools can bring their own professional promotion through this research.
