During the historical period of Wu Xu( 1894—1899),Hu Nan education administrators Jiang Biao and Xu Renzhu strived to enlighten average public people in Hu Nan and implemented reform and innovation policies. With collective efforts from Hu Nan governor Mr. Chen Baozhen and other top officials such as Mr. Huang Zunxian, Mr. Tan Sitong and Mr. Tang Caichang, Mr.Jiang and Xu managed to make reform and innovation idea well accepted in society and make Hu Nan one of the most lively, open provinces in China at that time. The two education administrators Mr. Jiang and Xu played a key and constructive role in terms of publicizing innovation and reform ideology, cultivating innovation talents and changing the social climate in education and reform sphere.This thesis mainly focuses on what Mr. Jiang Biao and Xu Renzhu had done as Hu Nan education administrators in the Wu Xu period ( 1894—1899).By analyzing what a role had Mr. Jiang and Mr. Xu played and their status as education reformers when they worked as Hu Nan education administrators in Wu Xu period( Guang Xu 20^th year to Guangxu 26^th year), this thesis tries to find out Mr.Jiang and Mr. Xu's guidance role and influence to the social climate in education area in Hu Nan...
