Taoism contains extremely valuable educational thoughts, imperceptibly influences Chinese psychology and personality, and moistens Chinese educational culture. The valuable Taoism provides rich resources for contemporary moral education. This article stands at the Taoist way of thinking, trying to go deep into the internal of the Taoism. Select the essence and discard the dross, with the reality of contemporary moral education, the article attempts to draw the positive and useful part of Taoist way of thinking, explore the essence of Taoist thinking for the contemporary moral significance.Taoism includes profound dialectics. Its reverse negative way of thinking, "straight words seem crooked" way of expression and the equal communication constitute its unique Taoist way of thinking. These methods of thinking inspire the contemporary moral significance. "Unity of Heaven and Human" in Taoism inspires contemporary educators not only to conform to the nature of the educated, but also to highlight their own personality, and finally to achieve the harmony of heaven and human. The managerial methods of "following and imitate the nature", "never does yet through it all things are done" in Taoism inspires contemporary educators in the contemporary moral education process to take the "never does" attitude, to present moral education naturally, and to perform moral education activities as it is. Finally the educated will reach the destined state. Open, sequential, and artistic characteristics constitute Taoism expressional way which inspires educators to find out the uniqueness in the process of contemporary moral education and strengthen the penetration in the mind of the educated by the moral educational way of "learning from the previous lessons". The educators should pay attention to their own behaviors and their impact on others, speak and perform perfectly, focus on their humanistic care toward the educated, and eventually realize "teaching without words" in contemporary moral education.
