There are 238 chinese characters and 13 chong wen in radicals"女".It will exceed 250 characters by adding the words of main body is"女".The radicals"女"in the origin of Chinese character mostly consists of family names, feminie characterand kinship terms, relatives' appellations, marriage, procreation, character usage in depiction, description of female and abundant derogatory terms .The author , general exercising and referring methods and research findings of the science of writing and commentating , study of document , anthropology , archaeology , history , ethnology , folklore and artistic philosophy esc , entering into Chinese ancestors' cultural circle of consciousness from customs of social and marriage , female status , aesthetic sentiment and so on , investigating Chinese feminine existing condition in an all-round way of many angle with Scientific and objective , deeply and precisely inquires into historical destiny of Chinese female in difference space-time .The thesis divides into four chapters .The first chapter is"The remains of matriarchal society". We may know that in ancient times ,there is a society of female centric means matriarchal clannish society by the analysis of family names , feminie characterand kinship terms , mu and hao esc with radicals"女"in the origin of Chinese character . In the matriarchal society, people only know who are their mothers, the sons or daughters live with their mothers , people get a family name according to the mother, genealogy is calculated according to maternal aspect , people praise bearing child and respect female , the female is in commonly venerable position in society.The second chapter is"Researching of ancient marriage customs".Some ancient marriage customs of our country are discussed by part characters that denoting relatives' appellations and marriage in the words with radicals"女"in the origin of Chinese character .
