With the trend of economic and technological globalization, the cultural industry has gained rapid development and has become the rising industry, which is greatly promoted by many developed countries and their governments. Compared with the conventional industries that are based on industrial or agricultural technologies, the most important characteristic of the cultural industry is that its manufacturing and consuming products is mental rather than material, or its material products rely on the mental products. This phenomenon is an inevitable result of the development of human material civilization. The inner driving force of the development of the cultural industry is not only the economic benefits, but also the complex potential elements such as the rising of the nation and race consciousness, and it is also the surely reflect of the trend of the globalization.As China is a united country of many ethnic groups, the ethnic cultural industry is an important component of the whole cultural industry of China, and is also the essential way to develop the economy of the ethnic area, fully utilizes the special cultural resources and promotes the development of the society. Although the ethnic cultural industry is at its beginning stage, it has shown the huge potential and activity of its development and is becoming the new economic growth pole of theethnic economy. The dissertation starts from the concept of the cultural industry, analyzes the status quo, the problems and the confinement factors of the ethnic cultural industry. It puts the emphasis on and deeply analyzes the ethnic cultural industries in Yunnan, Guangxi and Tibet, and uses the successful experience of cultural industry development in the developed countries for reference, so as to provide the academic solutions to how to cultivate the ethnic cultural industry to the new economic growth pole in ethnic areas.The main part of the dissertation is composed of five chapters: Chapter One elaborates the theories of the cultural industry and the economic growth, so as to obtain the notion of the ethnic cultural industry and its features, and also puts forward the inevitability that the ethnic cultural becomes the new growth pole in ethnic areas. It sets the basis for further demonstration through analyzing the successful cases of the cultural industry in Germany and France.Chapter Two elaborates that the ethnic cultural industry is becoming the new economic growth pole of the ethnic areas. It further demonstrates the developing trend and characteristics of the ethnic cultural industry, and proves the possibility and inevitability that the ethnic cultural industry becomes the new economic growth pole through the analysis of the contribution ratio made by the ethnic cultural industry to the ethnic areas.Chapter Three analyzes the typical cases of the ethnic cultural industry on the basis of the Chapter One and Two. It comprehensively and deeply analyzes the ethnic industries in Yunan, Guangxi and Tibet, elaborates their successful development track and experience, so as to further prove that the ethnic cultural industry is becoming the new economic growth pole of the ethnic areas.Chapter Four demonstrates the existing problems and confinement factors of the present ethnic cultural industry. It expounds the problems in every direction from exterior to interior, and demonstrates the confinement factors of system, policy and measures, which causes the problems.Chapter Five elaborates how to cultivate the ethnic cultural industry to the new economic growth pole of the ethnic areas on the basis of the Chapter Four. From the perspectives of the cultural system, the industrial structure and the sustainable development, it puts forward a series of advices for and solutions to the development of the ethnic cultural industry. |
