Engineering Colleges In China, Public Music Education Research

For a long time, the discussion about the elective music course of ordinary university students, especially students at colleges of science and engineering in China are constantly pounding music teachers' thinking at colleges and universities. People from all walks of life have attached great importance to the unique function of music that it can enhance the human quality of university students. Particularly most music teachers have agreed that there exists a close relationship between music and science. Therefore, the research about the education of music at colleges of science and engineering has become the problem followed with interest by the Ministry of Education, the education committees at all levels and the public art departments of colleges and universities. In recent years, music education at colleges of science and engineering has been improved a lot, but it is still at the primary stage.
