Public art courses is an important part of the curriculum system in chinese colleges and universities, also is important way of implementation of aesthetic education in genenal colleges and universities. On the basis of "Two Rules" of Ministry of Education in 2002, the requirements of the document Popular in Universities and Colleges of Arts Education and Strengthen the University and College on The Views of Art Education and the spirit of National Universities Program of Public Art Curriculum Guide, public art courses are required into the undergranduate teaching plans.Colleges and universities should integrate advantage of educational resources and expertise of teachers and research results such the discipline and geographical location, create arbitrary set of distinctive art elective courses or seminars to meet the different interests and needs of students.
