Modern Chinese Turning Adverbs Study

At present, grammar academic pays close attention to the research of adverb. Through several decades probing, grammar academic has formed diversified studying method about the research of adverb and acquired plentiful fruits. As a classification which individual characteristic is stronger than common characteristic, there are remarkable differences in the interior of adverb in combination pattern, grammatical meaning, pragmatic feature, semantic direction, text feature and so on, the situation is quite complicated. This paper chooses a minor kind of adverb----adversative adverb as the object and conducts common time analysisfrom the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic.The article includes five chapters, its concrete content as follows:The first chapter is introduction, introducing the objective, purpose, significance and methods of the research, theoretical background, source of language material and studying scope.Chapter Two introduces the present situation of the adversative adverb and defines the internal members. Follows: fan' er/fandao/fan; jing/jingran; juran; pian/pianpian; qishi; dao/daoshi; queChapter Three analyzes the syntactic function of adversative adverb from the syntactic position and the constitution feature of adversative adverb. Adversative adverb have predicate feature, their distribution have flexibility, adversative adverb have prepositional and dynamic feature, they can appear together with transitional conjunction, between adversative adverbs, they can appear together and use together.Chapter Four mainly analyzes the semantic of adversative adverb from the grammatical meaning and the background of the semantic and from the point of contrast view analyzes the interior of adversative adverb.Chapter Five analyzes the function of pragmatic, also the function of focus prompt and the function of text.At last, we sum up the opinion of the thesis and points out the deficiency of this thesis.
