Qu Yuan, the literati who firstly pressed his name in the history of Chinese literature, left ample mental fortune to us .In Fen · Mo Luo Shi Li Shuo, Lu Xun said :"(Tian Wen)djoubts all the things, even their trivial, from origin ,and speaks out the words without fear which predecessors dare not say." So ,Tian Wen is a militant poem which can destroy the old cultural and mental shackles .The correct comment to TianWen will help us acquaint the trail of Chinese ancient advanced ideology. Tian Wen is all-inclusive, extensive and profound therefore, innumerable scholars have been studying it for two thousand years .The study history of TianWen is just like a racing river from ancient to now.Han Dynasty was the initiation of studying Tian Wen. Influenced by the trend of explanation to classics, the study of Tian Wen was obviously confined to traditional classic thoughts in this period, which was showed by the classical elucidation of Tian Wen through the comparability between Tian Wen and Book of Songs. In WeiJin and SuiTang Dynasties, the study of Tian Wen was mediocre. In the long history, though literature creation and literature criticism was active, the researching achievement of Tian Wen is little, except Guopu's ChuCi Explanation and Liu Zong Yuan's Tian Dui, for the influence of metaphysics or for the restraints of rulers or for the unstable social situation. In Song Yuan and Ming dynasties, the researching achievement was great., especially the Song dynasty was regarded as a period of an agglomeration of Tian Wen. The study of Tian Wen in Song Dynasty was developed on the basis of the predecessors' achievement and gained deserving attainment, which made Chuci Additional Remarks and Chuci Variorum Edition become the most important annotated edition. Descendants' study are mostly developed on the basis of the two books. But under the influence of Cheng Zhu Confucian school of idealist philosophy, the study of TianWen, in some sense, broke away from the category of history and culture, and showed the strong color of Confucian school of idealist philosophy. After going through the hollow stir of idealist philosophy, people gradually realized the shortcomings of argumentation and emphasized the same importance of argumentation and textual research.
