Lu Xun is the founder of Chinese modern novel and the leader who makes it mature. To be the Chinese classical literature his works have unique theme and mode of narration. There are various forms of explanations of his works, filmizing is one of these patterns. Since the film and the novel are not the same mass media, there must be some differences in terms of narration. By looking at Luxun's four works "The new-year sacrifice"("Zhufu"), "Regret for the past "("Shangshi"), "Medicine"("Yao"), and "The true story of ah Q"("ahQzhengzhuan") respectively and their filmizing texts from a point of view of narratology and interpretation. This article aims at searching for the deep meaning of the classics of literature, examining the advantages and disadvantages of filmic narration and discussing the merits and demerits of adaptation. All these analyses will provide more systematic and reasonable principles of adoption, and benefit for the adaptation in the future. After a intensive reading of two kind of texts, this article does a comparative study these texts. They all have their superiorities. The novel is better in displaying the tensility of it's thoughts and the depth of its implication. And the films make use of the sound, light, and technicolor to filmize, which increase the quantity of audience and make for the increasing of acceptance of classic literature because of it's visual and intuitionistic advantage of film media, but limited the chance of imagination and the deep meanings of the novel. The reasons of this situation is there are many narrative shortages that the film .can't overcome by itself, Meanwhile as the interpretation the original works, the influence of social background and cultural environment on the director must be taken into consideration. Culture environment changed a lot because of the newly emerging medias. The traditional novel should keep its literature spirits and makes full use of other medias in the time of mass media prosperity. Based on the motive of the original works, film adoption should give full play to its advantages of the narration to make up the deficiency in the narration depth.
