On Cultural Force In China's Modernization Process

Nowadays, with the rapid advancement of sciences and technologies, intellectual economy is booming. The traditional relation that the economy unidirectionally dominates the culture has been a history; and instead, the reality lies in that the economy and culture have been developing more and more mutually so that their integration is not in doubt any more in the very near future. For our country, in the mean time, with the reform and opening-up and the market economy exploiting in depth, its deep level contradictories in economic society development are revealed as well. These great changes, happening nationally and internationally in the new era, have demonstrated the formidable impact of culture force on the development of today's economy and society in every aspect. To address these issues, a preliminary study is carried on in this paper to explore the functionalities of the cultural force to the advancement of our nation's modernization.This thesis begins with the explanation of culture force. Obtaining from the elaboration of logic and history, the author put the general principles about culture force into the practice of our nation's modernization. Then followed by exploring the rationale of culture force research, a further study of its functions and their mechanism is pursued.. With the instruction of the above general theory, the significance and specific roles are detailed for the culture force to play in the course of our nation's modernization. Finally, several individual thoughts are proposed for the construction oute of our nation's culture force in this paper.
