Face The Technological Shock - The Challenge Of Digital Art And Design Teaching

Designing is always the combination of technique and art. Nowadays, the characteristics of digital art, including interactivity, dynamic, 3-D etc., put higher requirements on information technique. Based on my own teaching practice, this paper wishes to analyze the characteristics of digital art and the current development of digital art education, give some advises on adapting the digital art education to the innovation of new technique , which including the discussion of fundamental and professional curricular, emphasizing curricular planning with the adaptability of fundamental course and the modularization and continuation of professional course ; as to the educational mode, suggestion on strengthening the connection with society and market , and setting up studio educational mode , in order to fulfill the requirement of technical practicability . Treating technique as a big challenge to professional education, from the point of integration of digital technique with course teaching, this paper discusses how to stimulate students' interests of new technology and capability of cooperation and self-studying, how to incubate students' learning ability suitable with the development of new technique, in virtue of multi-media and network environment, by making reasonable use of information technique.
