FeiMing is a special writer in the history of Chinese modern literature. Although he was famous of his fictions, but those fictions have always been looked upon as poems or proses. He writed the novels earnestly, yet almost not a fiction has an end. Although he is thought of one of initiating persons of the modern poetry fiction, but 《Bridge》 is thought of "Obscurely", "Hard comprehend", not liking other poetry fictions being comprehensible .The article tried to seek and put up the lost "Bridges" in 《Bridge》, and to lift the mystical veil of it.First section : Revealing the different meanings of "Bridge" in the mind of writer. At first, it is an actual "Bridge ". Second, it is also a "Bridge" which led the writer to a happy universe in his recalls. The most important is that it is a "Bridge" which will "pull through" the writer himself and other people to the world opposite to the reality. Relevantly, the novel 《Bridge》 has different kinds of meanings . 《Bridge》 can be looked upon as a prose recalling the past ,also can be regarded as a novel on the traditional home village theme, and also can be thought of the "Utopia " created by writer in which he shows his life ideal .In short , the uncertainty on genre and complexity in understanding of 《Bridge》 are caused by the different meanings of "Bridge".Second section : It is the main part of the article. I will put up "Bridges" to read the text through four respects. The first, "Bridge" of the genre. 《Bridge》 is wandering among Prose-Poetry-Fiction .So it has the special quality in genre: prose is its form, poetry is its internal sentiment, and fiction is its nature. Secondly, "Bridge" of narration. Through two respects (the narrative time and the allusion) to illustrate the private nature of 《Bridge》, especially stress the function of the "Individual allusion". Thirdly, "Bridge" of characters. XiaoLin is the replacement of writer, and the writer's many experiences of life and felling can be seen in him. QinZi and XiZhu separately embody the ideal of normal principles life and poetry life. Fourthly, "Bridge" of language. The nature of characters makes the fracture of language and makes the hard understanding of text.Third section : The losing of the writer's ideal leads to the lost of his language, and the losing of writer's language leads to the lost of characters' language. The writer had realized his ideal was a daydream, so he was suspected about forming a "Common Garden ".The result is the suspension of the text. 《Bridge》 becomes a "Bridge" which is fractured.
