Han Dynasty, Hou Crime

The thesis consists of three parts.In the first part,the marquis of Xi Han Dynasty are divided to three kinds,that is,the marquis entitled for merit,the marquis who were kings' sons,and the marquis who were relatives of queens.Then it's summarized the status and varieties of privileges the three kinds of marquis,including their domain,enormous economical rights,the super ministers in the central government,the privileges in laws,the chance to ally with the royalty and the he reditary rights.The status and privileges of the three kinds of marquis are deeply connected with their crime.In the second part,it's summarized the correlative contents of the crime of the three kinds of marquis,including the names of the crime which can be divided to three kinds,i.e,the political crime,the economical crime and the criminal crime.In addition,this part also includes the names of law punishment,the administrative officals and institions in charge of the crime of the three kinds of marquis and the proceedings of justice.Altogether,these contents are important to understand the features of the crime of the three kinds of marquis.The third part is the most important part in the thesis.In this part,Xi Han Dynasty is divided to three periods:the early period,the middle periodand the late period.In each period,by understanding the criminal rate of the three kinds of marquis and the respective percentage of the three kinds of crimes,we can master those most important kinds of crimes of the three different periods.These kinds of crimes had different features, which were effected by some basic facters,such as politics,economy,law and culture and so on ,in different period.The kernel of this part is find the causes of these different distinguishing features.Finally,the thesis concludes that the crime of the three kinds of marquis.In sum,it was rather effective and successful for the central government of Xi Han Dynasty to control the crime of marquis.
